| Objective(s) | To supply power imported to Bangladesh from the upcoming 2x800 MW (net 1496 MW) coal fired thermal power plant of Adani Power (Jharkhand) Limited (APJL) in Godda District of Jharkhand State in India to the national grid and to meet the growing power demand in Rajshahi and Rangpur region which is the agricultural economic centre of the country and as well as capital Dhaka. |
